Painted Statements

As a result of the spacial restriction of using my bedroom as a studio, I have been making lots of smaller pieces that can stand alone or in relation to one another. What works well with these statements is that they are open to interpretation. It is not clear if they are demands, questions, reassurances, who is saying them and who they are directed at. They also can relate to one another:

I would like to explore the visually connected pieces (like TRYING TO FIND - SOMETHING REAL futher) especially for the way the continuous line draws them together.
